The ECHR ruled against us.
It was unanimous against us. The only disagreement seems to be
Judge Pettiti who felt the Court should have come out more strongly in
favour of the governments right to jail us. Here is a reply to his

S/M CASE GOES TO EUROPEAN COURT
The Commission
Before we even got to the court we had to go before the Commission of Human rights
who had to rule that the British government had a case to answer before it could
go further.
This they did.
However some warning that the case might go against use came when
they also expresssed the opinion
that the UK government had not violated human rights in the spanner case.
However a large minority of the Commission disagreed: here is thier views:

Spanner Monthly Meetings
Spanner meets last Sunday of the month at Central Station,
37 Wharfdale Road, near Kings Cross, London,
at 8pm. Usually it will be a discussion on how the
campaign is going, occasionally we run a workshop.
SM bisexuals
SM bisexuals also meet at Central Station.

We tried Europe - now it's the long slog of changing public opinion
until we are strong enough to bring about a change in the
